Call for Workshop Participation

The System Dynamics Africa Chapter is organizing its 2nd Chapter Workshop to exchange novel ideas and practical experience in System Dynamics. The 2nd International Workshop on System Dynamics and Data Analytics (IAWSD 2016) under the theme “Systems Modelling for Sustainable Development” will be held at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies in Nairobi, Kenya on 21-22 January 2016.  This is an event organized by the System Dynamics Africa Chapter.
This International Workshop will play a major role in advancing the field of System Dynamics (SD) by leveraging the opportunities brought about by data analytics technologies to address the emerging global societal challenges. The workshop title is of particular interest at this time because of the potential contributions of big data analytics in enhancing system dynamics.
The purpose of this workshop is to facilitate discussion amongst SD academics and practitioners. In addition, the workshop will create awareness of SD and its applications in solving pressing societal challenges across Africa and elsewhere in the world.   This workshop would be of interest to SD members, researchers and practitioners in sustainable development and PhD candidates who are interested in SD as a problem solving approach.
